Shipments are audited during transit. If a shipment’s actual dimensions or weight don’t match what was entered when booking, the shipment may be delayed and will be subject to additional fees called carrier adjustments.

Shipments booked with inaccurate dimensions or weight are also more likely to be mishandled or damaged, since carriers sort packages based on the size and weight provided at booking.

Once a shipment is in transit, we’re not able to update its dimensions or weight. However, you can contact us to update your shipment’s dimensions and weight any time before you drop off your package or before it's picked up.
